Overview

DADES is built for kart racers who want to get faster on purpose instead of by chance. Plug in your MyChron data and DADES turns raw numbers into clear answers: where you're losing time, which corners have the most potential, and which setup actually worked.

There's no more digging through loose files after a race weekend. Every session is filed under the right event, with your kart, engine, tires, tire pressure and the weather. Over a season you build a complete record of every track you've driven and every change you've made.

At the track, DADES runs on your laptop without internet, right next to your kart. At home, you can pick up where you left off in the browser. Whether you're a driver, a parent-mechanic or a team, DADES gives you what you need to find the next tenth.

Features in detail

• MyChron download over WiFi: Connect to your MyChron and pull sessions straight off the device, with no cable and no detour through Race Studio.
• Race Studio 3 import: Upload CSV or XRK exports, several files at once. Files you've already uploaded are detected automatically.
• Theoretical best lap: DADES combines your fastest sectors into an ideal lap and shows the gap between that and your real best.
• Sector coach on the map: The track is color-coded by improvement potential, from green (optimal) to red (biggest opportunity). Tap any sector to compare your racing line and time loss against your fastest pass.
• Lap and sector consistency: See how much your sector times vary across your fastest laps. Laps slowed by traffic are filtered out, so you know exactly where steadier driving pays off.
• Automatic track and sector detection: Tracks and sectors are recognized from your data, and you can confirm, rename or fine-tune them.
• Events and tandas: Group sessions into race weekends and training days, with practice, qualifying and race sessions in their proper place.
• Complete setup log: Record kart, category, engine, tires and tire pressure for every session, plus weather and track conditions.
• Track trends: Follow your progress at each track session by session, from your first visit to your latest personal best.
• Engine temperature (EGT) analysis: Look at exhaust gas temperature alongside your lap data. Optimize your carburator and safe your engine
• Offline laptop app: Native apps for macOS and Windows that work without internet, with satellite maps of the tracks built in.
• Web version: Review and analyze your sessions from any browser, at home or on the go.
• Multilingual: Available in English, German, Spanish and Catalan.

My role

• Product: ran discovery with drivers and organisers, defined the roadmap and released in small increments
• Engineering: designed the data model and built the web app
